Speakers and a panel will explore the meaning of the culture of life in relation to healthcare and how to live by that culture in our professional and personal lives.
There will be a small fayre to showcase the work of lay and religious organisations related to healthcare and tea and coffee will be provided during the break.
Entry is by donation (suggested donation: £5, payable at the door). Please be generous in order to enable the continued work of the Catholic Medical Association’s Committee for the New Evangelisation (CMANE). The CMANE supports young Catholics in healthcare.

Come and join us at some point over the weekend to celebrate the feast of St Margaret, Queen of Scotland.
Building on the momentum and spirit of the ladies lunch, we are planning a ladies open weekend hosted by the Sisters and our fantastic group of co-workers, taking place here at the pro-life centre. The event will consist of Evening/Afternoon tea, talk on the work of the CWPLI followed by a tour of the centre and a look at our future plans and so much more…
Craft goods, handbags, gifts for sale, plus plenty of time to just enjoy the chat and catch up with Pro-Life friends old and new.
The weekend will be based around 7 available slots where you’ll be able to book a table (for whatever number suits your party):
Friday 16th: 7pm-9pm
Saturday 17th: 12-2pm, 3-5pm & 7-9pm
Sunday 18th: 12-2pm, 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm
Tickets will cost £15 and will include full afternoon/evening tea (Prosecco available separately)

We are looking forward to hosting the Project Truth team for their training night in August.
The Project Truth Roadshow gets together young people from across the UK to spend a week travelling around Scotland’s towns and cities, bringing the pro-life message to the public with real joy: because life is beautiful. Here’s a link to a video showing what happens on the roadshow.
The week on the road costs over £200 per participant when transport, accommodations, meals and materials are taken in to account. Adding new equipment brings the running costs this year to around £7000.
Below is a Project Truth Wishlist which outlines certain costs. Why not sponsor meals for the week for a young person? Or perhaps a hoody and t-shirt combo? Or maybe your pro-life group would consider sponsoring one of the 9 seater vans? You can donate online by using their GoFundMe page.

The series of videos of Sr Roseann answering 50 questions about abortion, to mark the 50th anniversary of the abortion act, is now available on YouTube. The series is titled “Abortion – 50 Years On”.
In due course, we plan to make these videos available in pen drive form to schools, along with a booklet of the questions and answers.
So, get watching and sharing these videos- they are short, sharp and to the point and will give you all the reasons for why we are pro-life.
