40 Days For Life is taking place in several locations around Scotland over Lent. 40 days for life is a worldwide movement that involves keeping prayerful vigil outside abortions facilities – for 40 days. The aim is to pray for a change of heart in women seeking abortion, to pray for the unborn children lost to abortion, to pray for the staff involved in providing abortion, to be able to offer women information about alternatives to abortion and offer help to those broken by abortion. The ultimate aim is to pray for an end to abortion. Many hearts have been changed through this prayerful witness – mothers have decided to keep their babies, staff have left the abortion industry. You can watch one such story about a former Planned Parenthood manager, Abby Johnson here:
Sr Roseann will be speaking at the opening rally in Glasgow on Saturday 25th February. Sr Andrea will be speaking at the opening rally in Dundee on Sunday 26th February.
Please do get involved if you can. You can commit to as little or as much of the vigil as you want. Contact details for the vigils can be found on the 40 days for life website:
