We had a busy start to the year when we welcomed two large groups of S3’s from St Ninian’s High School, Kirkintilloch to the centre over two days with their teachers.
They heard about the development of the unborn child from conception aswell as the different methods of abortion. They got guided tours of the centre to see first hand what we do and how we sort the donations we receive so they can be given out to the women we help.
They also heard about post-abortion syndrome and watched a video of women talking about their abortion experiences aswell The Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat that Sr Andrea helps run for people who need healing from their abortion.
Many of the pupils asked questions and explored these challenging topics with Srs Andrea and Roseann. We enjoyed having the pupils and were impressed by their manners and attentiveness. We hope they learnt alot to take away and remember.
