  1. Kathryn says:

Are you open to accepting young women as candidates who are passionate about living for Christ in the context of a religious community but have some health problems or handicapps? Do you accept women from other countries as potential candidates?

  2. gospeloflife says:

Kathryn, thank you for your question and apologies for the late reply. Country of origin wouldn’t be a bar to becoming a sister. With regards to the issue of health, it certainly wouldn’t automatically preclude from the consideration of a candidate, it would really depend on individual circumstances. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your questions and God bless you!

  3. gospeloflife says:

Denzil, you will certainly be in our prayers. However we don’t have your email address and so can’t reply by email. God bless.

  4. Giancarlo Rocca says:

Please, we want to put your new foundation in a Directory (published by Pontificia Università Urbaniana in Rome) and we need informations about your institute:

    - how many sisters now ?
    - address

Thank you for your helping us.
    Don Giancarlo Rocca.

      Dear Don Rocca,

      - The Sisters of the Gospel of Life were founded 1 January 2000.
      - The founder was Sister Roseann Reddy along with 2 companions under the patronage of Thomas Cardinal Winning, Archbishop of Glasgow.
      - The current status of the Sisters of the Gospel of Life is as a Lay Association of the Faithful. The Constitutions are with our local ordinary Archbishop Mario Conti pending approval. The foundation was publicly endorsed by both Cardinal Winning and Archbishop Conti.
      - There are curently 3 sisters.
      - Address: 106 Dixon Avenue, Glasgow, G42 8EL

We hope this is helpful – please do let us know if you require any further information.

  6. Margaret says:

Dear Sisters — Is there a way an Orthodox woman could become involved in your work, do you need volunteers for anything?

    • gospeloflife says:

      Dear Margaret,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering – the easiest way to arrange something would be for you to phone the Iniative between 9am and 5pm to have a chat. The number is 0141 433 2680.

      God bless you,
      Sr Amanda

  7. gospeloflife says:

We don’t have an age policy, we take each case on its merits. The first step would be to contact us with some personal information. The blog is not the best place in which to do this because it’s so public. To retain confidentiallity we recommend that you write to Sr Roseann 106 Dixon Ave, Crosshill, Glasgow G42 8EL and we’ll take it from there. Thanks.
