Sister Andrea spent a happy afternoon yesterday with people from Crossreach in Bridgeton. They have been working hard knitting some beautiful baby blankets for the Initiative and made a presentation to Sister during her visit.
There was great banter, yummy cakes (always popular with Sister!) and tea a plenty. Sr happily chatted away to many of those who had knitted the blankets and was impressed with their committment to knitting. The blankets are so useful to our work here and will go along in helping us provide a cosy future for many babies. A huge thank you to everyone at Crossreach for your welcome of Sister Andrea and your generous gifts of the blankets.
