As many of you will know we have our own charity shop “Precious Things”, on Cathcart Road, Govanhill. We have been running this shop for over 2years now with the help of a sturdy group of volunteers who take a morning or afternoon, Monday to Friday.
However due to various reasons our group of staff has depleted and we are struggling to cover the week with the volunteers that are left. Therefore we are urgently asking for anyone our there who is at all interested in helping out in the shop to get in touch. We would give you training and show you the ropes until you get to know how everything works. The two slots where people volunteer are between 10am -1pm and 1-4pm. The only request we ask of volunteers is that they can;
-handle cash
-keep the shop clean & tidy
-good communication skills
